Project intake for Nigerian clients

Start your project with a brief that actually works

Answer a few guided questions about your goals, budget and timeline, and get a clear, scoped response from a dedicated freelancer.

  • You deal with one freelancer from the first message.
  • Budgets are set in naira, so quotes stay realistic.
  • Not sure about something? Skip it and say so.

Tell me about your project

Name, email and project type are required. Everything else helps, and you can say "not sure".

Your details go to one freelancer, not a public board.

Scoping a project should not feel like guesswork

Briefwell turns a short, guided intake into a clear brief, a realistic budget and a timeline, so the work can start on solid ground.

The usual way

  • A vague quote after a long chat
  • Details scattered across WhatsApp threads
  • Budget and timeline discovered halfway through
  • A marketplace where many people reply and nobody owns it

With Briefwell

  • One guided intake that captures everything once
  • A clear brief you can read, correct and keep
  • A realistic budget and timeline, agreed up front
  • One freelancer, from the first message

What the intake asks, and why

Five short areas. Each one removes a question that would otherwise cost you a week of messages.

Project type and goals
Say what you are making and what it should achieve. Plain words are enough.
Audience and references
Tell me who it is for and share links to anything you like or already have.
Budget range in naira
Pick a range. If you are unsure, say so and we will work out what is realistic.
Timeline
Give your ideal date or choose flexible. Deadlines shape the plan, so they come early.
Contact details
Your name, email and, if you like, WhatsApp number, so the reply reaches you directly.

After you submit

Tell me your project. Get a clear plan.

  1. Your brief is read by one person

A single freelancer reviews what you sent. No hand-offs, no sales team in between.

  2. You get a scoped response

A clear reply covering what the project involves, a realistic budget and a timeline.

  3. You decide the next step

Adjust the scope, ask questions, or go ahead. Nothing starts until you are comfortable.

Questions people ask before they start

Do I need to know my budget or timeline already?

No. Choose "Not sure yet" or "Flexible" and the response will help you work out what is realistic for your goals.

Who will read my brief?

One dedicated freelancer. You deal with them directly from the first message, not through a marketplace or a middleman.

What if I cannot describe my project well?

The questions are guided so you do not have to. Write what you know in plain words and share reference links for anything you can point to.

What kinds of projects can I send?

Websites, brand and design work, writing, marketing content, video and photo, or something that does not fit a category. Pick "Something else" if unsure.

Are budgets in naira?

Yes. Every budget range on the form is in naira (₦), so the response is scoped around what you can actually spend.

Have a project in mind? Put it in writing.

A clear brief is the first step toward work that is delivered on your terms.
